She does seem to be making a weak justification for what is an unprecedented action which comes with serious risks of blow back for the West. It looks like an act of someone who is sawing off the branch on which they sit; an act of desperation. It’s not some winning hand which is going to resurrect the PNAC and is not in the interests of ordinary folk in the West.
