But.... as usual, they are using thousands (maybe tens of thousands) of privately owned Apple digital phones to bounce the AI search & respond LLM software. The energy consumed per phone is minuscule, but add it all up & it's probably the same. Also, iPhone users in Belgium, India, Australia & Morocco will share the energy costs therefore removing the USA from funding electricity to ChatGPT & Grok users all around the world. . It's just that each recharge per iPhone is just a few cents. Every system requires energy & has its limits. But Fractal spreads it all over the entire globe (Iran, Russia, North Korea, maybe China excepted).
George. I know where you're coming from, but I don't really agree. TV, electronic serfdom... definitely. I have not watched 1 minute of TV for 5 years. Facebook... definitely. I've never been on. But AI...No. I use AI a lot to search & analysis complex data. Years ago, I needed specialist libraries & days, if not weeks of research. Then came Google. Searches reduced to an hour or more of reading. Now AI, I can get those results in seconds. I control 100% (almost) what AI gives me. And yes, on many occasions, you are given biased results (from biased algorithms), but keep pushing back & you'll get deeper data. Or use another AI program like DeepSeak (Chinese), not linked to American social propaganda. Cheers. Just my experience. Entropy Wins.
