David Eby BCs premiere is not someone to be looked at lightly. The entire fee simple concept - first & priority rights on all BC lands is the quintessential definition of a gigantic racket domestically and Internationally. I ve met many natives over the years, good people generally honest. They have my respect. Insofar as the political class is concerned, if they all met an untimely demise Im not entirely sure it would satiate my loathing of a criminal disgusting class of people.
I am First Nations person-Yes, please don't blame us---I am a Canadian Indian---we get blamed for everything-Guns didn't take us down---a Liquid with a Cork destroyed us. We had no experience with alcohol they figured that out--We release an Enzyme which makes it as Addictive as Crack Cocaine--It Destroyed us! No, I do not hate as my Daddy well verbalized--"Daddy, do you Hate the White Man?"--his answer? "No, I do not. Hate Destroys a Mans Soul." He died soon after.
Over the last week or so I had the temerity to slip into a nice warm bath of normalcy bias. About 24 hours ago I was basking in the thoughts PDT had learned a lesson and understood we must get the energy supply chain back up and running again. However as quickly as a switch gets flipped the situation turned 180 degrees.
I saw an article from the WaPo earlier. A guy I chat with now and then (Brett Erickson) is sourced in here. Am only interested in one thing now; how bad is it going to get? I guess that’s a tough question. One thing I am certain of is how bad it CAN get.
My stock portfolio is down 9.4% from its peak because I chose to overweight precious metals and critical metals and was afraid that the momentum in hi tech wouldn’t last - I was mostly wrong about tech, so far.
Gold and silver have been hit hard recently. Energy is doing ok.
I’ve limited my losses by setting small, tight stops whenever there was a drop in prices, selling a few shares whenever they dropped further.
I also sold a share or two when they went way up on some days.
As a result, I’m sitting on over 40% cash - ready to start buying when it looks like a bottom might be in.

My daily prayer is for wisdom and guidance from the Lord.
