We have the same problem here in Australia with the NDIS ( national disability insurance scam ) this in now bigger than the defence budget. Poorly managed. Recipients have been caught using to funding supposed to provide help for the disabled to buy crypto, drugs, overseas holidays, prostitutes and much more. A welfare state always seem to attract parasites .

Agreed. Different country, same pattern: bloated programs, little to no oversight, and inevitable abuse.

The same is happening in Ukraine and has happened in Afghnistan for 20 years .. The US is always the proverbial fool who is easily parted with his money. (from Johannesburg)

How many families are dependant on SNAP in red states? And the convicted fraudsters in Florida got a presidential pardon. This isn't blatant fraud, it's blatant cherry picking!

Did anyone catch that “In Minnesota… just 30% of native households are on some sort of welfare”. What?! 30%!

Let the chips fall where they may. And make sure it's not in a cheater's bank account.

I know that sounds pithy, but it comes as close to the truth as anything.

PPP loans, meme coins. It's almost as if the whole thing is just a house of cards.

Stop the cherry picking. Mississippi had a huge fraud. Texas and Florida had large fraud of federal funds. Federal funds bailing out (and/or) paying Medicare, oil companies, banking ( 2008 - 2011 bailouts), and every state has fraud. Covid payment frauds were in every state. Red, blue, purple state doesn’t matter. Stop racist issues. Many white people have committed fraud. Claiming bankruptcy to obtain a better deal, is that fraud ( costing taxpayers billions in costs that taxpayers pay).
