..but of course, if you sell your U.S. bonds and switch the proceeds into gold, then it doesn’t have an effect on your currency at all…

Tom Luongo has pointed to the ECB and BoE. A rise in the Euro against the dollar would confirm this, which is the case.

But the treasury rates from 3months all the way to 5 years are the same as 30 days ago and the 10 year is only up 16 basis points.
