Many pay $200+ for an "official" sports jersey with some other guys name on it and then pay $200+ for a seat to watch the team play for a couple of hours while drinking $10 - $15 beer and eating $10 popcorn. That's nuts, but the market demand is there and people pay it. No different for gasoline or bread. Don't like it? Don't buy it, or reduce your demand for the product through smarter financial planning. Maybe even buy those oil stocks and share in the profit.

Big Oil is always the target of the Jacobins, Bolsheviks, and the innumerate. Pick which one on which day is Trump. Meanwhile the mag 7 had combined profits of 300 billion in 2025 with margins much greater than the Oil and Gas sector and the reaction from the usual suspects..... crickets.

Is it just political jawboning or is it designed to keep new refineries from being built? Political pandering maybe? It’s the crack spreads that drive retail gas prices not oil companies. Trump knows this, but he said crap anyway.

Lucid and on point, including the jokes and irony about it's the governments fault so let's tax government. Fat chance, so fat it drowns.

The picture at the top of the article tells everyone what they need to know about the difference between economics and politics. According to Joseph Stalin, a REAL Communist who demonstrated his bona fides even better than Bernie Sanders ever could imagine, "Economics is who gets what. Politics is who DECIDES who gets what."

Both Bernie and Trump are demonstrating the vast economic ignorance that exists in Washington, DC. Along the way, they are showing us that politicians create nothing but taxes.

Well, maybe they create other things. Like wars, and inflation, and envy, and pandering to the vast masses of people who can be manipulated.

The reason politicians never create anything good is because that would require them getting the hell out of the way, which would undermine their reason to exist.

For anyone (like me) ignorant of the differentials between "oil", Crude Oil and its other variants, I wud say to watch Chris Martenson's YT/Substack specific videos about the different uses of so-called "oil".

That’s odd! I distinctly remember much lower oil & gas prices before our retarded President started a war against Iran to cover up the Epstein disclosures
