Where is the portfolio? I just subscribed to Casey's Crisis Investing and have spent the last frustrating hour trying to find the portfolio page with no luck. Where is it? Extremely confusing experience so far.
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the confusion. The portfolio is updated at the end of each monthly issue of 'Crisis Investing (link below).' Scroll to the bottom of the latest issue and you’ll see the full portfolio, including all positions, entry dates and prices, current gains, and guidance on what to do. If you’re interested in any specific position, the best place to start is the issue where the initial writeup was published—you can find it by locating the issue based on the entry date. I’d also suggest using the search field and typing in the company name to check for any recent updates, which we also publish in the monthly issues.
Platinum is almost 100% an industrial metal. Mostly used in auto catalytic converters on the exhaust system. In my opinion if you want platinum do not get physical. Trade the paper.
Most coin shops do not trade platinum so if you need to liquidate some of your stack quickly, you will be in a bind.
When Nixon severed the last link of the dollar to gold, that was "temporary" too.
Yep.
Excellent point, JD.
And the EU abandonned the combustion engine ban from 2035. i guess this fueled platinum also.
Yes, that’s a good point. Thanks, Marcel.
