Why are we financing a cartel of private banksters who have destroyed main st and our money actually destroyed the country through their monetary policy. PRIVATE BANKSSTERS

I don't see that an entirely ZOOM conference of all these always wrong CLOWNS,

isn't good enough. There doesn't need to be anything but an office building somewhere,

WELL OUTSIDE WA-DC, that should be good enough.

So...a president who finally pays attention to all the incredible crap that has been

ongoing in our government, where up to 20% estimated, of the entire spending

of the largest government in the entire universe, may be FRAUD, and no one else

has had the courage to stand up, call it out, make every effort to stop it before we

crash and burn......you view as a problem. interesting.

He is already wealthy enough that essentially he cant be 'bought', doesn't need

your bribes, side deals, or pad his retirement....is a problem? And you aren't writing

about the Somali congressperson being worth $30million in two years? or the head

of USAID suddenly being worth tens of millions on a $170k salary?

And the folks who start risking their lives trying to save a nation from the death by

corruption...THEY are the problem? really? TSA letting suitcases of money go to

Somalia? MY taxes for overseas terrorists? really?

A multiBILLION renovation of a building for rearward facing PhD's to chat about

economic numbers, on MY TAXDOLLARS...is ok??

Gavin Newsom on cost overruns and corrupt spending (capitol building. Bullet train, homeless, migrant benefits), "hold my beer"

The Fed IS a useless and crooked. I should be investigated. We do not need 9 to 12 governors who know very little about anything managing a country that is quietly going broke, with every banker dipping into the till. The building that is being renovated was given to contractors who are also scamming. You do not need 2.8 billion dollars to redo a building with great bones, and elevators that work. You do not need a fancy restaurant and spa, and gym....in a building where meetings and work should take place. The contractors must have seem Powell coming. The best thing we can do is redo this entity.

Sorry for the spelling errors!.......ha-ha!.....I was so anxious to respond!

>>The Fed IS a useless and crooked.

No argument there.

>>The best thing we can do is redo this entity.

Same here.

I agree; the Federal Reserve is not really independent. But President Trump is taking this point to the extreme.

My own thinking is that a quasi-government entity shouldn't be involved in setting interest rates. It's price fixing, in a slightly different form. It's setting the price of money.

I like this author, but blaming the gold run on DT discredits him big. Trump did not weaponize our currency, did not start the war with Russia and did not invent deficits. With some reluctance, now think I overestimated this author.

When measured against gold, the dollar has lost 96% of it's purchasing power since 2,000. DJT didn't start this but seems hell bent on destroying the dollar...

Thanks for reading, John. I didn’t say Trump weaponized the currency, invented deficits, or started the war with Russia. But gold doesn’t care who started the fire. Gold cares who’s throwing gasoline on it now. And there’s been plenty of gasoline thrown since Trump stepped into office. A weaker dollar is a stated policy aim of the Trump admin, and the dollar is down over 11% over the past year. Gold is sharply higher. Neither outcome is surprising. That’s also why central banks have been buying.

So if the system has a rather vigorous, well needed, 'reset' before it actually

explodes in an uncontrolled fashion someday, is bad? Of COURSE there will

be fallout, but even in roaring open capitalistic markets there are innovations,

and alterations where some go bankrupt, and creation goes on. Starting it

sooner rather than an uncontrolled nuclear meltdown later, is likely good.
