I'm a bit confused by the rewilding component. Don't animals have a right to live as well? If we are encroaching on their territory or not giving them enough land to live on, is that not our fault? And who is rewilding? Are they breeding them secretly somewhere and releasing them? In Canada they have been masacring wolves for decades every year, and not letting them find their natural balance. So herbivores become a pest and are out of control. Top predators are important for the balance. Yes, I understand that when the human animal interface becomes too common, then animals will kill. I am just not sure who is releasing them and from where? Should they not be tranquilized and released to a location that gives them plenty of area to live? I'm just asking. human animal conflict in Canada has been happening for a long time and it is mostly due to humans being at fault.

Can be helpful to go to these places for long periods of time and take long walks and think about it. Going there matters. Helps with perspective.
