Sorry Tim, I have to interject. My grandpa told me once, "don't be that guy who gets hung up on individual words - you're always gonna miss the bigger picture." I mean, it's fine to critique ideas you disagree with, obviously... but getting hung up on semantics when you're probably in agreement with most of the other stuff is just silly.
Thanks, but you miss the point. False framing is different. This is not about debating "individual words". All great propaganda is based in two things: 1. false framing, and 2. omission. A timeless quote; "If you can frame the issue, the battle is nearly won."
And if one cannot recognize propaganda - one is forever lost.
Calling tax handouts "government benefits" is propaganda. Please clean up your act.
