Agreed, all is not lost. I must have misunderstood Doug, as I’ve heard him support Trump on several occasions from a “best of the worst perspective” like many of us (me included) . My mistake for thinking he might be voting this time.
To try and make a difference, I suggest Jeff Childers substack of daily events below. I know Doug doesn’t like the hoi polloi on his lawn but I’m hoping he might take a gander. If anything it will give him a daily chuckle and maybe even more insight into us plebs. I do worry that the doom and gloom is aging him faster than need be !

The swing to the left is invariably the swing to the right, sometimes it goes a little to far. Thinking of this I see the youth that have grown up with multiculturalism and transgender may well become victorian like conservatives.

Politics firmly aside, I’m not about to argue, at all. Historically, mistakes have been made and everyone here today, growing up tomorrow and taking up residence here will pay, plus interest, for those mistakes.

All isn’t lost. There is much we can do, personally, to improve our lot in life.
We don’t vote.
