Thank you very much for the kind words. For Doug, it's an act of good karma. For me, I sincerely believe it is the most important thing I've done in this life so far, and maybe ever will do. But the work has just started.

Next step is to get this book in the hands of as many people as possible.

Step 2: do what we can to try and make it easier for them to implement. I've got some ideas for that too.

Shared this with my son. Though he graduated Cum Laude from a strong private university, he often questions whether the cost was worth it compared to what life has taught him since. That’s why I think The Preparation will resonate — it makes the case that real-world experience can be every bit as valuable as formal schooling, sometimes more.

Thank you very much for doing so. I look forward to hearing what he thinks about it. And hopefully you can convince him to place a review on Amazon, good or bad.

It's great to get feedback. It'll help us with a second edition. And it also makes a big difference to have reviews on Amazon. At this point we've got seven so far. Granted, the book's been out for six days. But we need more reviews, absolutely.

I only hear about this being useful for boys/men - what about my granddaughter.

I've answered this question in a few different places, but it's worth repeating. This book is specifically designed for young men. That does not mean at all that it couldn't be useful to a young woman. I think if they followed it, they would be incredible.

However, being a man and having been a boy, Anyway, I know intuitively the fears and insecurities, the hopes and motivations that drive young men, and it made it able for me to talk to them, hopefully in a language that will connect with them.

I very much suspect that that language and framing will need to be different for young women. I say this as a man who has a 17-year-old daughter, Bella, who is in much the position Maxim was in when we started writing this book. So it's an important problem to me and one that we endeavor to solve, probably through another book.

I have enjoyed the YT discussion between Doug and Matt re: The Preparation book, of course I have purchased it! I am looking forward to seeing the suggested reading list and curriculum ideas within. I think the Pandemic situation and how it was handled in the west culminated in a pervasive purposelessness and destruction of motivation never experienced before. This concept may be a very important and practical antidote we need and are ready for.

Thank you, Brad. I really appreciate that. If you could do one more favor, if you don't mind, leaving us a review on Amazon would be wonderful. Apparently, I'm told, that books with less than 50 reviews are often passed over by shoppers. Despite selling thousands of books., at this point, we've got less than 10. So, if you could help us out with that, I would be in your debt.

Yup: and it's intentional for "public" "schools" to pimp college, and ignore trade schools. I speak as an expert witness after 38 years' service as a public school teacher. Our "leaders" designed this before the woke secondary "education":

US public education: Bullshit to train stupefied work animals. Introduction: defining ‘bullshit,’ demanding comprehensive, objective, and independently-verifiable factual accuracy everywhere in Life, along with freedom to authentically respond (1 of 12)
